Watch: Julian Okwara Took the Ball Away from North Carolina and It Was Just Rude

That’s not very nice, Julian. But so, so impressive.

NCAA Football: Notre Dame at Michigan State Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

At Notre Dame, the name “Okwara” is typically thought of with nostalgia, since Romeo Okwara was a key member of the 2012 defense and was part of a season that resulted in a national championship appearance.

But there’s a new Okwara, and he isn’t too bad. Except that, if this play is an indicator of anything, Julian Okwara is a bad, bad man. Check it out:

That’s a heck of a play. He gets a hand on the ball and then intercepts it. The only part missing for Okwara was trucking the quarterback and scoring the touchdown himself. But yet another turnover for the Notre Dame defense will do. That’s two turnovers and a safety for the Notre Dame defense on the day.

Thanks to @BarstoolIrish for the highlight.
