Brian Kelly, the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, got in front of the media on Tuesday for his weekly press conference. With the Wake Forest Demon Deacons up next on the schedule, there was obviously going to be a lot of "Mike Elko," questions - and there were.
Kelly was also asked plenty of questions about the upcoming college football playoff rankings that are going to be released for the first time this season tonight on ESPN. Kelly will join ESPN on the show - but only he said, "because Nick Saban declined."
Kelly said that he would rank the Georgia Bulldogs #1 and the Fighting Irish #2, but that's because those are the only two teams he really knows right now.
