The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are one of the hottest teams in college football right now with a solid defense and an offense that is rushing the ball for over 300 yards a game. The opponent today is one of the most familiar and most hated teams on the schedule in the USC Trojans.
The Trojans slipped up in Pullman, Washington but still have plans to do great things this season - including an invitation to the college football playoffs. This game today is being billed as a playoff eliminator, and they are absolutely correct. Everything is on the line tonight including the Jeweled Shillelagh.
I hope everyone has their Trojan Blood poured and ready to go. While I fully expect an Irish win, anything can happen in rivalry games like this.
