Hoping 13 is lucky for us

MMMMM, THOSE CHEESEBURGERS WERE DELICIOUS

After the bye week and a weekend full of cheeseburgers, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish team continues to see a rise in the rankings. With 4 top 10 teams losing this weekend, there was nowhere to go but up. We’re up to number 13 in the rankings. The USC Trojans are at Number 11, so we will have a Top 13 match up going into Saturday night. It’s about to go down.

Here is a rundown of the rest of the AP Poll:

Notable Rankings

The Georgia Bulldogs are now up to Number 3. They are our only loss so far (and arguably the best loss in the nation). The Michigan State Spartans have now only lost to us and are number 18. That win for us is looking better and better as the weeks go on.

As for future opponents, the Miami-Florida Hurricanes are now number 8 while the Stanford Cardinal are at 22. With the Navy Midshipmen moving out of the Top 25, that leaves 4 of the remaining 6 opponents of the Irish that are ranked. The N.C. State Wolfpack climb four spots to 16, and continue to be a team that a lot of people have circled as maybe the toughest game left on the schedule.
