“Jarron Blossomgame scores 20+ and gives the Irish fits at times around the hoop, but the Tigers will have no answer for Matty Farrell and Steve Vasturia, who will help the Irish pull away down the stretch as they continue to get into the lane, attack the hoop, and dish it out for some three pointers. Beachem will show modest improvement in that he will hit a couple of shots, and Bonzie will keep going to the foul line and knock down tons more free throws. Also Marty Geben will get another dunk.”

“Clemson has shown that they are a tough opponent, but the Tigers are coming to South Bend after a deflating OT loss to North Carolina, while the Irish are riding high off of two thrilling ACC wins. Farrell and Vasturia will continue to steer the offensive ship while Bonzie Colson will give Jaron Blossomgame all he can handle (also look for Austin Torres to get more minutes after his effort on Wednesday). I want to say VJ Beachem breaks out, but that hasn't been working out for me lately. Still, the Irish prevail.”

“This is the last game without the students in the building, so again it will be a more tamed crowd. That being said, the crowd was pretty lively on Wednesday night against Louisville. Notre Dame has yet to lose in Purcell Pavilion this season and I don’t see Clemson being the ones to snap that streak.

Clemson is a solid team though and will give Notre Dame everything they can handle. I see this one close most of the way, with the Irish pulling away in the second half. Blossomgame will have an excellent game, but Colson, Steve Vasturia, and Matt Farrell will be too much in the end.”
