The Notre Dame Fighting Irish find themselves just a few days away from National Signing Day and about five scholarship spots are open (possibly more). Although things looked very bleak just a couple of weeks ago, the Irish have been very aggressive over the course of the last few weeks and have done a really nice job with the official visits that they have hosted.
Does that mean everything is set and locked for a great signing day? No, but they have never been the case anyways after such a horrible season. What has been shown is that the new staff additions are far more diligent with their recruiting work, and that provides more hope for this signing day- but more importantly... signing days to come.
I sat down for a few minutes to go over what prospects Notre Dame is still working on and provided a few predictions as well. Those prospects are:
- Jalen Harris (DE)
- Kofi Wardlow (DE)
- Russ Yeast (CB)
- Myron Tagovaiola-Amosa (DT)
- Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (S/LB)
- Oliver Martin (WR)
- Jafar Armstrong (WR)
- Jonathon Doerer (K)
Take a few moments and watch the video. Remember, this is recruiting and these are kids. First... leave them alone on social media, and second... anything can (and probably will) change between now and Wednesday morning.
Recruiting update. The final push to signing day!
