Not a whole lot has changed when it comes to the two-deep for Notre Dame. This is the exact lineup they had for Texas, with the exception of a few difference both seen here and NOT seen here.

  • The safety positions are the only ones with some changes as the starting two will be Devin Studstill and Drue Tranquill. Backing up the true freshman Studstill is another true freshman, Jalen Elliot.
  • Concussions may play a role in how this depth chart eventually shapes up come kickoff. Both Torii Hunter Jr. and Avery Sebastian are going under concussion protocol after their head injuries against Texas.
  • While the depth chart still says “OR” for DeShone Kizer and Malik Zaire, it has the appearance of Kizer being named as QB1 this week while diplomatically letting Zaire know that he needs to be ready as QB2.
