Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer continues to impress. On the second Irish offensive drive of the day, he hit freshman wide receiver Kevin Stepherson with a spectacular pass. It’s KJ’s second touchdown of his young career, and Kizer is now responsible for 15 of them on the year.

Kizer’s performance begs the question: are we watching the best quarterback in next year’s NFL draft? There are many IFs to discuss when it comes to that point. If Kizer continues to play well, if Kizer leaves after his junior year, etcetera. As it stands now, the discussion may come down to Kizer versus Clemson’s DeShaun Watson when it comes to the top quarterbacks in the draft next year.
Back to the current: Duke has seized the momentum of this game, and things may get interesting. It’s 14-14 right now, as Brian Van Gorder’s defense continues to underwhelm. First team to score 70 wins, right?
