How last week’s picks fared
Josh Adams - 12 Carries, 29 yards
DeShone Kizer - 20/37, 344 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, 9 carries, 14 yards, 2 rushing TDs
Nick Coleman - Yea...let’s not talk about this pick ever again.
Nyles Morgan - LB

Morgan has been one of the few bright spots on what has been a pretty lousy Irish defense. Through the first three games Morgan is Notre Dame’s leading tackler with 27 tackles. Look for Morgan to have another strong game on Saturday. Duke does not pose the biggest offensive threat. Expect Morgan to be flying around the field, making plays against a rather pedestrian Blue Devils offense.
Equanimeous St. Brown - WR

St. Brown has been as advertised through the first three games. St. Brown has also been DeShone Kizer’s favorite target. He leads the team with 15 receptions for 243 yards and three touchdowns. The Irish should put up a good deal of points on Saturday and St. Brown will be right in the middle of it. Expect a big day out of the sophomore wide receiver, as he’ll light up the Blue Devils’ secondary.
Isaac Rochell - DL

Rochell has been an absolute force on the Notre Dame’s defensive line. He brings it play in and play out. If the Irish had more players like him we probably wouldn’t be moaning and groaning about the defense, but I digress. Duke hasn’t done a great job of protecting their quarterback this season as they rank 98th in sacks allowed. My bold pick for this week is for Notre Dame to get it’s first sack of the year, and the senior captain will be the one will be the one to get it.
