Notre Dame Football Depth Chart For Michigan State

In a manner consistent with last years bad luck, Notre Dame is already fighting an injury battle after two weeks into the season. This time, it isn’t the quarterback, but considering the level of play made by the defense thus far, it may be just as important.

Shawn Crawford is out for the season after tearing his achilles in a play against Nevada. Stepping into his role at cornerback is Nick Coleman, who has had mixed reviews from both the fans and the media.

One of the more telling positions is at the WILL. T’von Coney is our new starter there, and after some very good and physical play over the past few weeks, he deserves that spot. It’s also not a coincidence that Coney (who really has been the most physical player on the team after Nyles Morgan) will get to start against one of the more physical teams on the Fighting Irish schedule.
