Four star linebacker, Ovie Oghoufu had seen enough and heard enough with his own eyes and ears and from his "brother," current Notre Dame freshman Khalid Kareem, and he decided to commit to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Ovie Oghoufu is from the same school as Khalid Kareem in Farmington Michigan and held offers from not only in state powers Michigan and Michigan State, but also from Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Iowa State.
Ovie is the fifth commitment for the Irish in their 2018 recruiting class and the third on the defensive side of the ball. It's still a difficult task to evaluate prospects before they play a down as a junior, but by all accounts Notre Dame got themselves a very athletic and hungry linebacker that moves well in space.
We will have more on Ovie and the surprising (and sizzling) start to this 2018 class. Is Notre Dame lining up for an elite class? How do they stack up against the rest of the country? No matter where they stand nationally at this point, all pistons seem to be boring for the Notre Dame recruiting machine.
