Without further ado, we give you the results of the last week's Irish match-ups and look ahead at what's on the schedule this week.

No. 1 men's lacrosse (6-1) earned a 9-8 road win over Ohio State on Saturday. Mikey Wynne had a hat trick for the Irish, who had a slow start on offense in the first half. Check out our full game recap here.
Notre Dame next plays Syracuse on the road on Saturday evening (5:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU).

No. 5 women's lacrosse (10-2, 3-2) lost their weekend bout at home with no. 5 Syracuse, 12-11, then won a road match vs. Marquette on Monday night, 17-9. The thriller was a back-and-forth affair with a handful of lead changes; ND took a 6-4 lead into halftime and led, 7-5, early in the second. Casey Pearsall led the Irish with 5 goals.
On Monday, the team visited Marquette on the road and won, 17-9. Nikki Ortega, Rachel Sexton, and Grace Muller all had 3 goals for the Irish; Sexton had 2 assists, as well. ND led Marquette, 35 shots to 26 and 25 ground balls to 17.
Next up for the team is a visit to North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Sunday at noon.

No. 19 softball (24-5, 4-2) split their last week's games, 2-2. The Irish bested Eastern Michigan, 10-2 (in 5 innings), then lost the series opener to Syracuse on the road, 5-2. ND rebounded with a 6-1 in the second game, then lost to the Orange in the series closer, 6-4.
The Irish host IPFW on Wednesday evening. Saturday, Florida State comes to town for a double-header (1:00 and 3:00 p.m. ET, ESPN3). The teams play again on Sunday (12:00 p.m. ET, ESPN3).

Baseball (12-10, 4-5) had a strong weekend, sweeping Virginia Tech on the road, 16-4, 6-2, and 5-2. In the opener, sophomore Blake Shepski put up some crazy numbers for the Irish, with 3 home runs, 9 RBI, and 17 total bases. Not a bad road trip.
The Irish host Oregon on Thursday (6:05 p.m. ET, ESPN3). Friday, they host Wake Forest (6:05 p.m. ET, WatchND); the teams meet again on Saturday (4:05 p.m. ET, WatchND) and Sunday (1:05 p.m. ET, WatchND).

Men's tennis (10-10, 4-4) took two losses this past week, falling to no. 2 Virginia, 6-1, and to Georgia Tech, 5-2. This Friday, they host Florida State in the afternoon. Virginia Tech visits at noon on Sunday and the Irish play Chicago State that same evening.
No. 42 women's tennis (9-8, 3-5) also lost twice this past week, dropping their road confrontation with no. 43 North Carolina State, 4-3, and losing to no. 4 North Carolina, 5-2. They next play Florida State at home on Friday afternoon. Then it's Duke in Durham, NC, midday Sunday.

Members of the men's swimming & diving squad competed in the NCAA Championships this past Thursday through Sunday in Atlanta, GA. Justin Plaschka swam the 100 fly (finishing 41st overall) and the 100 free (38th). He also swam the 50 free and finished 20th, breaking ND alumnus Frank Dyer's school record time in the process. The Irish competed in the 400 free relay and finished 20th, in the 200 free relay, where they finished 18th, and in the 800 free relay, where they finished 21st. That wraps us the season for Notre Dame.

No. 13 Irish hockey (19-11-7, 15-5-2) fell to no. 5 Michigan in Cincinnati in the NCAA Regionals on Friday night, 3-2, in overtime. Michigan opened scoring with a mid-first period goal; ND's Anders Bjork answered a few minutes later, tying the game up. Thomas DiPauli put ND ahead, 2-1, seconds into the middle stanza, then Michigan knotted things up again, 2-2, midway through the third period. The game went to overtime, and it was Michigan that scored the final goal, 8:19 into the period. Cal Petersen made 32 saves in net for the Irish; the Wolverines led in shots, 35-30. ND was 0-for-2 on the power play and Michigan was 0-for-0. There were just 2 called penalties in the game, both on Michigan.
So ends the season for the Irish. One more note: star senior forward Mario Lucia is going pro. He's signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Wild for the upcoming season.

The no. 20 women's golf came in 11th overall in a field of 17 at the LSU Tiger Classic in Baton Rouge, LA. Talia Campbell had the team's top individual finish, coming in at 14th overall (tied). The team will be in Greensboro, NC, for the Bryan National Collegiate this Friday through Sunday.
Men's golf was idle this past week. Next up for the Irish is the Clemson Invitational in Salem, SC, this Friday through Sunday.

The no. 16 Irish rowing put up a good performance at the Longhorn Invitational in Town Lake, TX, this past Friday and Saturday. ND split four races with the University of San Diego. They lost their four races against no. 8 Texas, but were close behind and posted good times. The Irish now look ahead to the Big 10-ACC Double Duel on Saturday in Bloomington, IN.

Irish track & field started up their outdoor season this past Friday at the Raleigh Relays in NC and the Yellow Jacket Invitational in GA. The Irish earned a 1st-place finish in the 100m and 400mH, as well as a 6th-place finish in the women's 400m and 1500m. The women earned 3rd in the 4x400m relay, 5th in the 4x100m relay, and 6th in shot put. The men took 6th in the 400m, 5th in the high jump, and 6th in javelin.
The Irish next head to Palo Alto, CA, for the Stanford Invitational this Friday and Saturday.

The no. 1 women and no. 2 men of the young Irish fencing team earned a fifth place finish at the NCAA Championships in Waltham, MA, this past weekend. ND had qualified the maximum of 12 fencers for the championships. Axel Kiefer took third in foil on the men's side, falling to Penn State's Nobuo Bravo in the semifinals. Sabrina Massialas came in third in foil on the women's side, falling to OSU's Eleanor Harvey in the semifinals. Catherine Lee finished 5th in epee and Francesca Russo was 6th in sabre. Columbia took the team crown with 174 bout wins), followed by Ohio State (167), Princeton (161), and St. John's (161); ND had 160 bout wins.
So ends the collegiate season for the Irish. Certain fencers will compete, however, at the USA Fencing Division I Championship in mid-April.

Men's basketball (24-12, 11-7) wrapped up their season with an unexpected trip to the Elite 8. They earned a thrilling 61-56 win over Wisconsin on Thursday, then fell as perhaps expected to North Carolina in a pretty tightly contested match, 88-74. No. 2 women's basketball (33-2, 16-0) concluded their season on Friday with a surprising loss to no. 13 Stanford, 90-84, in the Sweet 16. We've got a full recap of the game for you from IrishKelly right here. With that, the Irish are finished for the season.
