Perhaps the biggest question going into this game for fans of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, had nothing to do with the game and if the Irish were going to win or lose to the USC Trojans.
The biggest question had to deal with Brian Kelly’s future at Notre Dame, and if he would be fired following the game or not.
It appears that Brian Kelly is going nowhere- at least according to Kelly himself.
"I'll be back. Absolutely." - Brian Kelly

While the rest of the college football world that had as much fun as the Irish this season (and some that had more) are making moves as it pertains to the position of head coach, it looks like Notre Dame is going to stand pat.
Brian Kelly said everything is on the table in terms of his coaching staff. "I have to clearly look at the mix of continuity and change."

This will certainly come as a punch in the gut to Irish fans looking to make a change at the top, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise. The biggest question should now be, “what’s next” for Notre Dame and the football program.
