Weather Report And Depth Chart: Notre Dame VS Virginia Tech

Notre Dame continues its march for a mid-tier bowl game this week as it faces Virginia Tech.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on fire right now with their one game winning streaks. One current streak, and a one home game winning streak.

The season has been great.

Something that has been missing this season, has been that cold weather game at home. It’s pretty rare in this day and age as the Irish prefer to end its last game of the season in California against either Stanford or Southern Cal.

We may get a great chance for some throwback November weather this Saturday against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Accuweather.com

Time to get excited! There is snow in the forecast! While the temperatures will rise above freezing and it will be around 40 degrees at kickoff, both the morning and the late afternoon should see some snow.

Just forget you even see anything about the rain (in your mind).

So, for all you fans that are attending, you are going to have to pack and wear a few different layers and that outer layer will need to be something that keeps you dry. Nothing is worse than a sad, wet, and cold Notre Dame fan on NBC... so do your part to keep up with appearances.

Depth Chart

There was a major change to the depth chart made on gameday last week. Mark Harrell was made the starter at right guard. It was the first time all year Harrell got the starting nod.

The depth chart looks about the same, but if there was a name that should see more time despite not being listed as a starter it’s Greer Martini. Martini has played some very good and physical football as of late, and as a senior... he may also be a gameday starter.

Look for Pete Mokwah and Jonathon Bonner to see more time as well with the continued absence of Daniel Cage as he battles his concussions.
