From Fumbles to Interceptions to Non-snaps, This Game Has it All

Now come the turnovers, as the Irish follow up their first fumble recovery with an interception

NCAA Football: Notre Dame at North Carolina State Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

The torrential downpour has gotten worse as the game has progressed. Now we’ve seen a snap that really just never that just never got... snapped. It was a play the likes of which I’ve never seen before. This game has everything.

It’s kind of comical at this point.

On the next play, NC State slipped up, as Daelin Hayes forced running back Nyheim Hines to fumble. The ball was recovered by Notre Dame’s Nyles Morgan. It looked a little something like this:

And also this:

Notre Dame’s offensive production has still been atrocious, going backwards more often than forwards, which is not ideal. Coach BK is insisting on airing the ball out, despite the fact that DeShone Kizer seemingly can’t get a good grip on the ball to throw it. The insistence on passing the ball resulted in an interception after a 1st and 11. The defense has tightened up a bit, but the offense needs to get it together and establish a run game if the Irish want to emerge from the hurricane victorious.

I don’t know about you but I’d take a 6-3 win in this one.
