Notre Dame VS Stanford 2016: Start Time, TV Schedule, How To Watch, And Game Thread

Notre Dame takes on the Stanford Cardinal in a primetime matchup that should of had playoff implications. That is no longer the case.

And here we are ladies and gentlemen. Notre Dame is 2-4 and once again finds itself as the butt of many, many jokes in the college football universe. It's hard for Notre Dame to not be in this position after the kind of 2-4 performance it has put on display. Although many people have said that this is the worst season in Notre Dame history, they must have crap in their brains for a memory. 2007 was by far the standard in awful- and it isn't even close.

Notre Dame has lost its 4 games by a grand total of 21 points. That, of course, is a little over 5 points per game. So, they keep losing close. The problem lies in against who it was, and how they went about it. The latter is what really caused a meltdown across the Notre Dame blogosphere this past week.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish enter the game against the Stanford Cardinal as the favorites in Vegas. This is the 6th game this season that Notre Dame has been the favorite. THE SIXTH TIME and have a 2-4 record. The cruelty is real.

When is the game and how can I watch?

Game date / time: October 15, 2016 @ 7:30 PM

TV: NBC

Radio: Local ND stations across the country

Online: NBC Sports Live
