Kizer to EQ again, and that’s just fine

Notre Dame runs the Kizer to St. Brown play again, and the results turn out similar

NCAA Football: Notre Dame vs Syracuse Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer again found wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown for another long touchdown. It’s becoming a theme, and that’s quite alright if you’re a Notre Dame fan. At least for the offense, that is. Take a look:

That’s 146 yards and two touchdowns for Notre Dame’s Equanimeous St. Brown already. That’s a pretty good start if you’re keeping track at home. Notre Dame is just fine on offense.

The defense, on the other hand, has not been very good. This is also a theme that we’re all quite familiar with.

The special teams did block another extra point - a la the Texas game - and return it for two points, so we’ve got that going for us. Which is nice. With a high scoring game like we’re seeing, it’s only a matter of time until we all start making basketball jokes. Stay tuned, folks, it’s at least fun to watch the offense.
