A couple of new offers have gone out at middle linebacker in recent weeks. First up is Elysee Mbem-Bosse who is a native of Cameroon, lived in London, and has only been playing football for a couple years. He comes out of Cedar Grove H.S. in Ellenwood, Georgia to the southeast of Atlanta.

Mbem-Bosse previously had a top 3 of LSU, Alabama, and NC State but may be changing things up after a big spring that brought him several new offers. He was also listed by Rivals as the top defensive player in Georgia for the spring.
Jonathan Smith is the second new offer out of Scotland County on the North Carolina/South Carolina border. He's going to be someone to watch out for in the coming weeks and months.

Smith has top offers from North Carolina, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech. He plans on visiting several schools in the Midwest next month and will make a trip to Notre Dame.
The story broke shortly after our last update at linebacker that Brendan Ferns was told by Urban Meyer that Ohio State doesn't have room for him dropped Ohio State from consideration because they don't have a petroleum engineering major. Now, Penn State and West Virginia have become his leaders.
Clemson looks to be taking a lead with Tre Lamar. He was recently offered by Michigan.
June 4th is the decision date for Jaquan Yulee who is down to Alabama, Florida State, North Carolina, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels currently lead his Crystal Ball with 83% of the picks.

.989 | Caleb Kelly | CA | 6-3/215 | Cold
.915 | Jaleel Laguins | GA | 6-2/213 | Cold
The Irish also handed out a couple new offers at outside linebacker lately, too.
Jaleel Laguins comes out of Oconee County H.S. from just south of Athens, Georgia. Due to his location his Crystal Ball is 100% in favor of the Georgia Bulldogs. He released a top 12 on the same day that Notre Dame offered. The Irish were not on that list.
A couple weeks ago (OH) Jordan Morris .853 committed to Michigan State. A week later he was extended an offer by Notre Dame.

Tennessee has a big lead for Daniel Bituli but he recently stated he's in no rush to make a decision.
Caleb Kelly recently broke down his top teams with Scout a few days ago. Despite making plans to visit Notre Dame next month he does not mention the Irish.
Someone to keep an eye on is (CA) Mique Juarez .977 who has been committed to USC for a while but is planning on taking several visits. One of those visits he's planning is to see Notre Dame over the summer.
Notre Dame is not giving up on (MI) Daelin Hayes .948 either who has been committed to USC for 10 months now. He's made it clear he's happy with USC but hasn't exactly closed the door on other teams like Notre Dame.
