The most significant and magical Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball season came to an end late Saturday night. The Irish fell to Kentucky 68-66 in the Midwest Regional Final of the NCAA Tournament. Notre Dame competed in 7 post-season games, and will raise an ACC banner for their efforts.
Stick with OFD over the coming days and weeks. We'll properly eulogize this incredible season, pay our respects to a fantastic coaching job, and pay proper tribute to 2 incredible senior leaders. We'll also take a peek in to a very promising future. This was a team that did amazing things that no one outside their locker room expected. It stings to know we won't be following them all the way to Indy, but there's a lot to be extremely proud of.
