Tweet from Nile Sykes comes moments after @BGI_DanMurphy report that Sykes won't be on #NotreDame's football team this fall. We're digging.

Sykes did report to Notre Dame for the summer session like all other players but will be transferring to another school and will not suit up for the Fighting Irish.
We will provide any further updates on the story when they arise.
UPDATE: Notre Dame has released Sykes from his NLI and he is transferring to Indiana where he willll be immediately eligible this upcoming fall.
"After Coach Kelly and Notre Dame released Nile from his NLI, he reached out to us," [IU head coach] Kevin Wilson said. "We recruited Nile hard and he was a guy we really wanted. We are happy to have him and welcome him into our program."
