Impact:
Immediate Future:
The running back depth chart in 2015 looks like it will be Folston and Bryant as options 1 and 1A, so reps for a third back may be limited regardless of who that ends up being. Adams is certainly capable, as he looks pretty natural with the ball in his hands. He could easily contribute on special teams units as a true freshman, and may be too athletic not to see some action one way or another.
Long Term/Career:
Adams is listed at around 210 lbs-and looks pretty thin for that size. He could easily get to 225 without sacrificing speed or agility. He may immediately draw comparisons to GAIII due to his height, but he does a much better job setting up blocks and shows the ability to make catches out of the backfield. He is ranked a bit lower on 3 of the 4 sites, but he is due a re-evaluation an bump based on his highlights alone.
Welcome to Notre Dame Josh!
