Welcome to the latest update to the Recruiting Big Board. If you missed last week's update at quarterback, running back, and athlete you can read it HERE. Today, we take a look at the three other positions on offense.

Wide Receiver

.907 Michael Chigbu LA 6-2/211 Cold
.844 Kaleel Gaines FL 6-0/175 Cold
.916 K.J. Hill AR 6-1/175 Mild
.984 Tyron Johnson LA 6-1/191 Cold
.981 Christian Kirk AZ 5-11/195 Cold
.984 Damarkus Lodge TX 6-2/190 Cold
.835 A.D. Miller TX 6-4/175 Cold
.911 Ryan Newsome TX 5-8/175 Mild
.965 Alex Ofodile MO 6-3/185 Mild
.919 Ykili Ross CA 6-2/185 Mild
.937 Carlos Strickland TX 6-5/194 Cold

The big surprise commit since our last update was C.J. Sanders who chose the Irish seemingly out of nowhere after taking a quiet visit to South Bend.

A couple of new offers have gone out since our last update. In early May the Irish offered 5-star stud Tyron Johnson from Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans. As you would expect LSU is the heavy favorite.

Damarkus Lodge is the other new offer and also a 5-star prospect. There hasn't been much info on him since his offer and he's probably not a realistic option moving forward.

Notre Dame remains in the mix with Myles Boykin who visited Michigan this past weekend. He'll see Missouri next Friday and make his fourth trip to South Bend since March the following day.

There's been positive news with Cordell Broadus who will be making the trip to South Bend for the Irish Invasion camp later this month.  He's also mentioned taking a second visit to Notre Dame during the summer as well.

E-Street Brown is also lining up a visit for Irish Invasion as well. He's probably not going to commit at any point during the summer so his recruitment will stretch into the fall and maybe later.

Over the past month there's been talk from K.J. Hill of locking in an official visit to Notre Dame and he's trying to get up to South Bend this summer. We'll see if he's also another Irish Invasion invitee.

The staff has pushed hard for more from Christian Kirk but it looks like not much is happening. He's looking to set official visits for the fall and Notre Dame appears on the outside looking in for now.

As mentioned in previous installments Notre Dame should get an official visit from Ryan Newsome and they are trying to get him up here during the summer. He'll be making a West Coast trip next week to see UCLA, USC, and Oregon.

Alex Ofodile's timeline was to commit at some point in late May or June but he has pushed his decision back to July. He will be visiting Notre Dame next weekend and the Irish are squarely in the mix with Missouri and Oklahoma.

Ykili Ross is being recruited as a corner and will be visiting Notre Dame soon. There are definitely some positive vibes with him right now.

Tight End
Score Player State Ht/Wt. Temperature 1* 2* 3* 4* 5*
.947 Devonaire Clarington FL 6-6/222 Cold
.953 Chris Clark CT 6-6/247 Cold
.925 Will Gragg AR 6-4/245 Cold

As mentioned in yesterday's scholarship and roster post there isn't much action going on at tight end and little stress in expanding the offers at this position right now. Most expect Clarington to stay down south, Clark is taking another round of visits that doesn't include Notre Dame and will be committing (again) at The Opening next month, while I'm not sure how likely it is that the Irish pull any player out of Arkansas.

However, there is some good news with Alize Jones, a current commit to UCLA. He's always been the top tight end on Notre Dame's board, attends the ND-friendly Bishop Gorman school in Las Vegas, and recently stated he'll probably take visits in the future including possibly to Notre Dame.

Offensive Line
Score Player State Ht/Wt. Temperature 1* 2* 3* 4* 5*
.850 Mike Arnold FL 6-5/280 Cold
.966 Matthew Burrell VA 6-5/290 Cold
.996 Martez Ivey FL 6-6/270 Cold
.903 Zach Robertson CA 6-5/308 Mild
.871 Reno Rosene CA 6-7/340 Mild
.866 Brandon Tiassum IN 6-5/285 Mild

With three offensive linemen currently committed the Irish are full for this cycle. The newest offer to Brandon Tiassum is on the defensive line and he's very interested in Notre Dame. I'm not sure if his offer is committable at this moment but he'll be visiting campus soon and plans on picking a school before the football season begins.

The thought was that Tiassum would have to come to the Irish Invasion to earn his offer but since he didn't need to do that I wonder how the Irish will handle his enthusiasm over the next 4 to 6 weeks. He might be the first defensive line commit for Notre Dame.
