Notre Dame picks up a huge non-conference win, knocking off Michigan State at home in overtime, 79-78.

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

If you want to head back to the NCAA Tournament, this is the type of game you need to win. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, led by Jerian Grant and his 27 points, did just that, beating the Michigan State Spartans in overtime at the Purcell Pavilion.

This was a great night for the Irish, in many ways washing away any remnants from last season and anchoring a tournament resume come March.

Our man JoeSchu will have us covered with a full recap and breakdown of the victory later, but for now, come celebrate post-game and share your thoughts (you must have many after that one) on what was a thrilling game in South Bend tonight.
