Welcome to the latest update to the Recruiting Big Board.

Wide Receiver
Score Player State Ht/Wt. Temperature 1* 2* 3* 4* 5*
.940 Cordell Broadus NV 6-2/195 Cold
.945 Equanimeous St. Brown CA 6-5/205 Warm
.877 Lawrence Cager MD 6-5/202 Mild
.838 Gary Jennings VA 6-2/190 Cold
.988 Tyron Johnson LA 6-1/191 Cold
.986 Christian Kirk AZ 5-10/191 Cold
.984 Damarkus Lodge AZ 6-2/190 Cold
.907 Ryan Newsome TX 5-8/168 Cold
.921 Ykili Ross CA 6-2/185 Mild
.930 Darius Slayton GA 6-2/182 Cold

The lone commitment among the receivers in recent weeks was (TX) Carlos Strickland .937 who gave a pledge to Texas Tech. He'll be targeted a lot in the pass game in the coming years.

Another note on the national scene is that Damarkus Lodge left Texas A&M's class back in September. The big receiver from Texas has taken official visits to USC and LSU in addition to an unofficial visit to Ole Miss this fall.

The plan is still for Cordell Broadus to come to the awards banquet next month. His only official visit so far was to Arizona State and he plans on returning to Tempe after the season, as well.

Over the past two months Equanimeous St. Brown has taken two official visits: Notre Dame and Utah. He plans on taking more official visits but hasn't set up anything yet. The other schools likely involved will be UCLA, USC, and Arizona State. He continues to say he'll decide on National Signing Day.

Lawrence Cager was offered in mid-October by Notre Dame and remains in the conversation. He's already taken official visits to Virginia Tech and Wake Forest and will be using two more to see Ohio State this weekend and Notre Dame in December. Cager recently went down to Tuscaloosa on an unofficial and had a good time.

Virginia athlete Gary Jennings was supposed to visit Notre Dame for the Louisville game but had to cancel. We've downgraded him to cold for now. He may come to the awards banquet.

Ykili Ross remains listed as a wide receiver although he's being recruited as a defensive back by the Irish. It appeared that Notre Dame lost some momentum here but Ross came to the Louisville game on an official visit which makes two trips to South Bend since late June.

Ross was hosted by Max Redfield, which is curious, but they are friends from back in their home state of California. He will be taking an official visit to Oklahoma in a couple weeks.

Tight End
Score Player State Ht/Wt. Temperature 1* 2* 3* 4* 5*
.937 Devonaire Clarington FL 6-5/222 Cold

Notre Dame remains solely focused on UCLA commit (NV) Aliz'e Jones .973 with a crucial few weeks coming up in the near future. He'll be at UCLA for the Stanford game this weekend and then will come to South Bend for the awards banquet.

Jones, who was recently named a U.S. Army All-American, caught 6 passes for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns in Bishop Gorman's playoff victory over Arbor City this past weekend.

Offensive Line
Score Player State Ht/Wt. Temperature 1* 2* 3* 4* 5*
.998 Martez Ivey FL 6-6/270 Cold
.906 Kendrick Norton FL 6-3/305 Cold
.890 Zach Robertson CA 6-5/308 Cold

Things have been quiet at offensive line for months. Notre Dame received more good news when commit Jerry Tillery came back to Notre Dame again and will be back for the awards banquet.

Ohio State's hot streak in recruiting continued recently as they picked up a commitment from (VA) Matthew Burrell .954 and the Buckeyes weren't done there, either.

Notre Dame had been scouting Utah commit (UT) Branden Bowen .853 in recent weeks but he just flipped to Ohio State.

The last note for today is that Irish commit Tristen Hoge was announced as a U.S. Army All-American back in October.
