Notre Dame will host several football (and a few basketball) prospects for this weekend's big matchup with Oklahoma. Several players are making return trips after spring/summer visits. This is the second installment of a season-long series detailing the recruiting visitors to South Bend for each home game.

Unofficial Visitors (11):

Committed Players

WR Justin Brent - Speedway, IN (Speedway)

QB DeShone Kizer - Toledo, OH (Central Catholic)

TE Nic Weishar - Midlothian, IL (Marist)

OL Jerry Tillery (2015) - Shreveport, LA (Evangel Christian)

Uncommitted Players

RB Shaq Vann - South Bend, IN (Adams)

TE Alize Jones (2015) - Las Vegas, NV (Bishop Gorman)

OG Hunter Littlejohn (2015) - Powell, OH (Olentangy Liberty)

OT Evan Mallory (2015) - Brownsburg, IN (Brownsburg)

QB James Morgan (2015) - Green Bay, WI (Ashwaubenon)

WR Austin Mack (2016) - Fort Wayne, IN (Bishop Luers)

QB Noah Wezensky (2016) - Fort Wayne, IN (Bishop Luers)

Notes:

  • Vann has been drawing attention from several BCS programs with his performance so far this season. Currently, he holds offers from a few MAC programs.
  • Jones is getting attention nationally and is one of the top TE prospects from the 2015 class. He attends the same high school as current RT Ronnie Stanley. He already holds a scholarship offer from the Irish.
  • Littlejohn already has offers from several BCS programs. The Irish already have one OL on board for 2015, and numbers are likely thin (3 max).
  • OL Coach Harry Hiestand is high on Mallory's potential after watching him at camp in South Bend over the summer. He is listed at 6'5", so he is likely an interior line prospect should the Irish offer.
  • Morgan has been getting lots of attention nationally, but reportedly really wants a Notre Dame offer. He could be the next in line for an offer if ND misses on IL QB Jack Beneventi.
  • Wezensky returns to South Bend for the second time in as many weeks, this time accompanied with teammate (and classmate) Austin Mack, who could end up being one of the top WR prospects in the 2016 cycle.
