Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

The lineup for this weekend might actually be worse than it was in week two. Several B1G teams are playing glorified scrimmages this weekend before they jump into the heart of conference play. There are at least a couple of decent SEC games and one PAC-12 matchup that all Notre Dame fans should be interested in.

The Notre Dame and Michigan State broadcast will start at 3:30 EST on NBC. Our open thread will go live an hour prior.

If any of you are looking for full TV schedules I suggest the link below.

Rankings are per the USA Today Coaches Poll

Thursday 19 September

#3 Clemson at NC State 7:30 ESPN

This would be a good game for Clemson to go ahead and pull a Clemson. Too early in the season? Probably.

Friday 20 September

Boise State at #25 Fresno State 9:00 ESPN

Boise State has rebounded from an ugly week one loss to Washington with two comfortable wins over Tennessee Martin and Air Force. Fresno State can score but has zero defense which means this game might actually be really entertaining.

Saturday 21 September

North Carolina at Georgia Tech 12:00 ESPN

This is the best game in this time slot. Sad.

San Jose State at Minnesota 12:00 ESPN2

Seriously? This game is what the Big Ten Network is for.

Marshall at Virginia Tech 12:00 ESPNU

Another doozie. After struggling against East Carolina last weekend I'm half expecting the Hokies to have their hands full with the Herd in this one.

Louisiana Tech at Kansas 12:00 FOX Sports 1

Chuck Weis and the Jayhawks got beat by Rice last week. Oh boy.

#24 Michigan State at #21 Notre Dame 3:30 NBC

Full previews from the staff are around the corner. I'm a little bit concerned about this game but that will likely be the theme for most of the season. You have to love that ND schedule.

Tennessee at #18 Florida 3:30 CBS

Remember when this used to be a huge game?

Purdue at Wisconsin 3:30 ABC/ ESPN2

Purdue is looking to bounce back from a home loss to the Fighting Irish. Wisconsin is looking to bounce back from their ridiculously controversial loss to Arizona State. This probably doesn't end well for Purdue.

Utah State at USC 3:30 ABC/ESPN2

Utah State has a pretty decent offense led by quarterback Chuckie Keeton. Can Keeton and company knock off the Trojans at the Coliseum?

Arkansas at Rutgers 3:30 ESPN

Bret Bielema and his wife have promised to Tweet barbs at Wisconsin fans throughout this game.

South Dakota State at Nebraska 3:30 BTN

Who thinks Bo Pelini will still be Nebraska's Head Coach on Saturday? Talk about having a tough week. First Pelini got called out by Husker legend Tommie Frazier then Deadspin released a barely audible recording of him going off on Husker fans after the 2011 Ohio State Game. Nice. I sure hope he doesn't follow that up with a loss to South Dakota State.

#23 Arizona State at #5 Stanford 7:00 FOX

Outside of ND vs Michigan State this is definitely the game of the day. This PAC-12 matchup features two good football teams that are both on the Notre Dame schedule. This is mandatory viewing.

SMU at #9 Texas A&M 7:00 ESPNU

If that game starts to drag you can always flip over to the U to watch JFF hang 70 on the Mustangs. The way TAMU plays defense we might see 100 total points in this game.

Auburn at #7 LSU 7:45 ESPN

Can Gus Malzahn and the 3-0 Tigers give the other Tigers a run for their money in Red Stick? Bonus question how many FBS schools have Tigers as their mascot?

Kansas State at Texas 8:00 ABC/ESPN3

Mack Brown might be the only Head Coach in the country on a seat that's hotter than Bo Pelini's. Lane Kiffin sends his thanks. The Horns have lost 5 straight to the Cats and from the looks of it 6 straight is likely. If that happens in the same month that K State dropped a game to FCS North Dakota State Austin might instantly burst into flames.

#14 Michigan at Connecticut 8:00 ABC/ESPN3

This is prime time y'all.

Utah at BYU 10:15 ESPN2

I might hang around for the first half of this one. Or not.

What else should we be trying to keep an eye on? See you in the open thread on Saturday.
