The lone defensive commit since we last checked in was California defensive end prospect Jaylen Johnson giving his verbal to Boise State.
Notre Dame continues to try and lock Lorenzo Carter up for an official visit. He's visited Georgia and Auburn in recent weeks and took an official to Florida two weekends ago.
Matt Elam has scheduled official visits to Notre Dame, Kentucky, and Alabama for later in the season but he continues to visit Kentucky on a regular basis with unofficial visits.
Garrett visited A&M a couple weeks ago, Hand took an official to Michigan earlier in the season and will visit Alabama in a month, Keihn visited Maryland two weeks ago, McDowell's latest visit was to Michigan for the Notre Dame game, Nnadi visited Virginia a few weeks ago, Thomas visited Texas a couple weeks ago, and Williams was at Georgia back in week two.
The Irish are still in contact with Holley and will visit him next month. He's yet to schedule official visits and we're hoping to get one of those in the future.
Featherston, Frazier, Moten, and Street have all been quiet over the past month.

Rashaan Evans visited Auburn back in week one and is just coming off a visit to UCLA. Vincent Jackson's lone visit this season was to Oregon a couple weeks ago. Raekwon McMillan visited Georgia this past weekend and will go to Clemson in a few weeks.
Notre Dame didn't make Edwin Freeman's top four recently. He has Texas, TCU, and Oklahoma in the mix with Texas A&M leading.
Clifton Garrett still seems intent on playing in the SEC. He's visited Florida recently and will take an official to Tennessee early next month.
The staff hasn't given up on Nyles Morgan but he still hasn't scheduled a visit to South Bend.

Purdue commit Drue Tranquill visited West Lafayette for the Irish game and was in South Bend for the Michigan State game two weekends ago. Insiders still expect him flip to Notre Dame, bulk up, and play linebacker for the Irish.
In recent weeks Jamal Adams has visited Texas A&M and Florida. Tony Brown is also coming off an unofficial visit to Texas A&M. Jalen Tabor has been to Maryland nearly every weekend this season. Parrker Westphal is coming off an official visit to Vanderbilt this past weekend.
The coaching staff is still working Adoree Jackson to get him to come to South Bend. He was at USC's loss to Washington State back in week two.
Nothing has changed for Watkins and Hendrix as they'll both be in South Bend for the USC game, while also coming to this weekend's Shamrock Series game.
