Final BlogPoll Ballot

Notre Dame's run at the top ends as Bama ascends to the pinnacle.

Andy Lyons

This is not my best work, for obvious, depressed reasons. You could jostle a lot of these around because we have a lot of data points to weigh now.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "

* I almost kept Notre Dame at number two, but Oregon's only loss is to Stanford by three and they add an annihilation of Kansas State to the resume. You could probably make a case for the Irish at two when you consider strength of schedule, but I'm adjusting for homerism.

* Stanford just played Stanford football against Wisconsin, but it's a shame they didn't have a meatier opponent to improve their standing.

* The Big Ten did a decent job of not embarrassing themselves this bowl season (not you, Purdue; sit down), so the fact Ohio State went undefeated (the only team in college football to do so) deserves some credit.

* Georgia beat Florida and Florida beat A&M and South Carolina beat Georgia I don't know, you could run these a lot of ways.
