Notre Dame Rises to #9 in Latest BlogPoll

With their win over Michigan, the Irish are 4-0 going into the bye week, and a top ten team in the BlogPoll.

Notre Dame gutted out a hard-fought, defensive win against the Wolverines on Saturday night, and was rewarded with a two-spot jump in the BlogPoll. The Irish also received a first-place vote, one of seven (!) teams to do so as Alabama's stranglehold on the top spot was loosened ever-so-slightly. The best chance for the Irish to move up may come tomorrow night, as Stanford travels to play Washington. The rest of the top ten are rather heavy favorites this weekend.
