Ladies and gentlemen, we have an important announcement to make.
On Tuesday July 31st, One Foot Down will be participating in a Google+ Hangout with Notre Dame AD Jack Swarbrick. These plans have been in the development stage for a couple months and we're glad to finalize and be a part of such an important event.
The Hangout will begin at 7:30 PM ET and should last about 90 minutes.
More details after the jump.
If you remember a couple months ago USF head coach Skip Holtz held a live Google+ Hangout and it went over very well. Now it's Notre Dame's turn to try this out.
I am thankful to be the representative for One Foot Down, and the Hangout will also include NDTex from Her Loyal Sons, Keith Arnold from Inside the Irish, as well as a few other members of the Irish internet community.
The event on July 31st will be moderated by und.com's Jack Nolan and will feature an opening statement by Jack Swarbrick.
Following those openings, each representative will be given the chance to ask Mr. Swarbrick one question with roughly 10 minutes given to each for discussion.
The Hangout will be open to the public and held live so if you wish to watch make sure you're not late. If you haven't signed up for a Google+ profile yet, you will need to do so in order to watch---but don't worry it's super easy to create an account.
Remember, it's on Tuesday July 31st at 7:30 PM ET.
I'd like to thank Christianne Harder, Notre Dame Athletics' Social Media Manager, for taking the time to put this together. I'd also like to thank everyone else at und.com and inside the athletic office for making this happen as well. I know that this kind of openness is appreciated by everyone at One Foot Down and within the Notre Dame community at large.
This was one of two big announcements we're making this offseason and the other should be coming very soon!
Send us some questions you want to ask Jack Swarbrick, we might end up using one of them!
