For the first time all season not a soul picked up anything better than 5 wins on the week.
I'm sure due to how the Baylor, Kansas State and USC games played out that most people will gladly take what they got this week.
For week 12 TLNDMA, Alairish, averagegatsby, and Larz led the way with 5-3 records.
Savannah_Domer still maintains his overall lead as we near the end of the regular season, and remember, yes we are playing the bowl games.
RECAP:
1) Rutgers 10 at Cincinnati 3
Winner: Rutgers (+6.5)
52% picked correctly
Did anyone watch this game? The teams combined for 661 yards of total offense but only scored 13 points?
How did that happen?
Rutgers may really regret losing to Kent State. Well, they should regret it anyway because it's Kent State but the Scarlet Knights are now 9-1 and still undefeated in league play.
2) USC 28 at UCLA 38
Winner: UCLA (+3.5)
19% picked correctly
Turns out we didn't need USC to win.
The Bruins raced out to a early 24-0 lead, but USC fought back to get within 3 points before UCLA sealed the victory on a 29-yard Johnathan Franklin touchdown run. In case you missed it here is the hit that will keep Matt Barkley out of this weekend's game against the Irish.
USC did gain over 500 yards of offense and outgained UCLA by over 100, but obviously the Trojans are a different animal without their senior quarterback.
3) NC State 48 at Clemson 62
Winner: NC State (+16.5)
39% picked correctly
Yet another offensive game for the ages.
1,351 total yards by both teams. Tajh Boyd threw for 5 scores and ran for another 3.
It's crazy that these teams went a combined 19 for 40 on 3rd down and still piled up the yards and points.
4) Ohio State 21 at Wisconsin 14
Winner: Ohio State (+2.5)
68% picked correctly
Ohio State: The Team of Probationary Destiny.
I thought the Buckeyes would surely beat Michigan this upcoming weekend but now I'm not so sure. Only 236 yards of offense against Wisconsin's 3-star talent on defense?
Ohio State has been fascinating but since they are ineligible for the postseason it feels like a waste of time to talk about them to any great length.
5) Wake Forest 0 at Notre Dame 38
Winner: Notre Dame (-23.5)

Takin' care of biz-nas at home in 2012.
6) Oklahoma 50 at West Virginia 49
Winner: West Virginia (+10.5)
16% picked correctly
Good God the offense!
662 yards for OU and 778(!) for West Virginia. The Mountaineers ran for 458 yards!
Tavon Austin alone had 572 yards of all-purpose yardage.
This is insanity.
7) Stanford 17 at Oregon 14
Winner: Stanford (+20.5)
77% picked correctly
God bless you, Stanford. Seriously, great job.
The Cardinal out-gained and out-rushed Oregon. They held the ball for over 37 minutes and got Oregon out of their comfort zone. Just a masterful performance by the Trees.
8) Kansas State 24 at Baylor 52
Winner: Baylor (+11.5)
39% picked correctly
If only Kansas State had more JUCO's they could have stayed undefeated. If only...
There's nothing quite like being the No. 1 team in the country and giving up 580 total yards, 342 rushing yards, and 52 points in 3 quarters to a team that was 1-5 in conference before the game.
OPPONENT WATCH:
Texas State 10 at Navy 21
I can't even imagine how boring this game was. The Middies get to 7-4 on the season as they head into their regular season finale against Army.
Purdue 20 at Illinois 17
You can't stop Purdue you can only hope to contain them. That's two straight B1G wins for the Boilers as they move to 5-6 on the season.
Holy crap is Illinois bad this year! They're now 2-9, winless in league play, and also 46-86 since 2002.
Northwestern 23 at Michigan State 20
Turnovers just killed State as they fall to 5-6 on the season---the same record as Purdue.
Hey, at least Michigan State is still recruiting better than Stanford right now.
Iowa 17 at Michigan 42
Michigan rolls Iowa and now UM fans think Devin Gardner is ready to be the next great quarterback. Yeah, we'll see about that. The Wolverines are now 8-3 and hanging on to their slim B1G title game hopes.
South Florida 9 at Miami 40
The Hurricanes just self-imposed a postseason ban for this year. Smart move. Also smart was pounding the hapless USF Bulls. Miami is now 6-5 on the season.
But let's talk about South Florida for a second. Remember when Skip Holtz did absolutely nothing and the Bulls miraculously pulled out a win against Notre Dame last year? Of course you remember.
Since that game Holtz is 7-14 and just 2-11 in the Big East.
BYU 14 at San Jose State 20
Not a good loss for BYU, if there is ever a good loss. The Cougars are now 6-5.
Did you know that SJSU is 9-2?
*Pittsburgh had a bye this week.
Virginia Tech 30 at Boston College 23
The Hokies needed overtime to win this game. Yes, things are that bad at both of these schools. Boston College is now 2-9 and looking for a new coach very soon.
The Early Lines for This Week's Big E Picks:
Michigan (+4.5) at Ohio State
Georgia Tech (+12.5) at Georgia
Oregon (-10.5) at Oregon State
Stanford (-1.5) at UCLA
Oklahoma State (+8.5) at Oklahoma
Auburn (+31.5) at Alabama
South Carolina (+3.5) at Clemson
Notre Dame (-5.5) at USC
