Notes:

  • Anzalone makes a trip back to South Bend after re-confirming his commitment to the Irish
  • Elmer, Smith, McGovern, Fuller, Butler and Brent all make return trips to South Bend
  • Hayes makes his first visit to Notre Dame after his commitment last week
  • Barker is rated a 4 star Pro-style QB by Rivals.com and is one of several 2014 QBs to have interest in the Irish
  • Cole is one of the top OTs for 2014 and already holds over a dozen national offers
  • Newell holds nearly 20 offers across the Midwest and Plains and would likely fit the NG spot, as he is listed at 6'3"
  • Plantz has not yet been offered and with limited OL numbers in 2014, the staff will probably continue to evaluate through the spring/summer
  • Watkins has been picking up offers throughout the Midwest and is planning on visiting Wisconsin soon
  • Bates just picked up his Notre Dame offer (in addition to holding several SEC/ACC offers) and is already making his way to campus for a first look at the Irish
