Since technically the game in Chicago against Miami counts as a "home" game, there are still visitors this weekend to see the Irish play first hand. Here is the list continuing a season-long series detailing the recruiting visitors for each home game.
Official Visitors (0):
Notes:
- No official visitors are allowed for the Miami game since it doesn't take place on Notre Dame's campus. Current USC safety commit Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, CA) was targeting a visit for this game, but will rearrange due to this rule.
Unofficial Visitors (9):
Committed Players (3)
OT Steve Elmer - Midland, MI (Midland)
WR Corey Robinson - San Antonio, TX (San Antonio Christian)
WR James Onwualu - St. Paul, MN (Cretin-Derham Hall)
Uncommitted Players (6)
LB Clifton Garrett (2014) - Joliet, IL (Plainfield South)
OT Jamarco Jones (2014) - Chicago, IL (De La Salle)
ATH Tommy Mister (2014) - Oak Lawn, IL (Richards)
DT Enoch Smith, Jr (2014) - Chicago, IL (Mount Carmel)
CB Parrker Westphal (2014) - Bolingbrook, IL (Bolingbrook)
DE Jashon Cornell (2015) - St. Paul, MN (Cretin-Derham Hall)
Notes:
- Garrett and Mister both visited Notre Dame for the Michigan game
- Jones is listed at 6'5"/285 and has offers from basically every Big Ten program
- Smith is listed at 6'3"/265 and looks like he could easily put on a lot of weight. He may be the next War Daddy for the Irish
- Westphal is shaping up to be one of the top corners in the 2014 class and his frame (6'1"/186) fits the Diaco profile
- Cornell is a team mate of current Irish commit Onwualu and at 6'4"/220 likely projects to Cat LB (for now)
