Justin Ferguson, wide receiver from Pembroke Pines, Florida in Broward County, has verbally committed to Notre Dame.
A 6'2" 205 pound wideout, Ferguson is very physical and currently a three star recruit according to Scout.
Before jumping aboard the Irish 2012 class, he was holding offers from Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Miami, UCF, and Wisconsin.
Although not a speedy receiver, Ferguson is very polished and physically mature for his age (think Michael Floyd) with scouts loving his ability to go over the middle, adjust to balls, over-power secondary players, and dominate in run blocking.
Ferguson might not be a hyped recruit right now, but it is clear that the Florida schools wanted this kid and you can bet that by next year's signing day he will be a 4-star receiver with much more exposure.
Is he a diamond in the rough that Kelly, Alford & Co. discovered?
