The NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial "Investment for Impact" program will take place April 18-21 at Notre Dame, hosting 13 current and 10 former NFL players. Notre Dame graduates Brady Quinn and Jeff Faine helped start the program with NFL Player Engagement "The opportunity to play in the NFL has provided a platform to have an impact on our communities," Quinn said in a statement. "It is my hope that through the Notre Dame Entrepreneurial program, attendees may learn how to invest with an impact for the greater good."

Mike DeCicco, the man whom former Notre Dame men's basketball coach Digger Phelps referred to as the "Godfather of the Notre Dame athletic department," had died. "When you talk about the mystique and tradition of Notre Dame, Mike is one of the pillars that made Notre Dame what it is with student-athletes," Phelps said via cell phone Friday night. "He was a great and dear friend. He and (wife) Polly were sweet people, and it’s people like them behind the scenes who made Notre Dame work."
