Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

A quick recap of Notre Dame's big summer camp hosting numerous football recruits.

On Friday night the Notre Dame football program hosted a recruiting camp called Irish Invasion in which dozens of players from across the country came to campus to visit and/or workout in front of the coaching staff. On Thursday we had a preview of all the players expected to participate and it turned out the team got a fairly solid turnout.

Here is some recap information from the camp.

Bellamy Pleased with Invasion Performance

"I talked to a few of the coaches. The running backs coach really liked me. They said they were going to review my film and if they like me, an offer should be on the table."

"It [an offer] would mean a lot actually," he said. "It would probably put them number one on my list."

"They loved my first step, my explosiveness. Coach said I was the best defensive lineman at the camp. He said that he'll definitely be in touch, he'll come check me out this fall and I fit the bill for what they're looking for in a pass rusher."
