Suggestions for getting tickets

I'm a UofL fan living in Louisville and I'm very excited about the opportunity to play such a prestigious program as Notre Dame in football this year. I hope the football games will be as exciting as the recent basketball games - but PLEASE no more overtime! I would love a chance to drive to drive up to South Bend and see my team play in front of Touchdown Jesus, and I was hoping to get some advice on the best/most economical way to go about getting tickets. I know it's not until Nov. 22 and I understand that tickets won't be cheap regardless of how I get them, but any suggestions as to how I should go about setting up my trip would be greatly appreciated!
