The best thing about bye week is being able to enjoy all of the games without worrying about how your team is going to play. You can get caught up on things around the house, spend some time with the people that you have been neglecting for the last six Saturdays, and hopefully still make time to catch a few good games. I'm looking forward to it.

Rankings are per the USA Today Coaches Poll
Thursday October 10th
Rutgers (4-1) at #8 Louisville (5-0) 7:30 ESPN
Is Louisville really a Top 10 team? If they were in the SEC, ACC, B1G, Big 12 or PAC-12 would they even be serious contenders to win the conference? I'm curious to see how they look against a pretty decent Rutgers squad.
Arizona (3-1) at USC (3-2) 10:30 Fox Sports 1
Left Coast! I need to move back there. Trying to watch all of these games from the East Coast is killing my Friday productivity. With the Trojans heading to South Bend next Saturday I have to stay up to watch Coach O make his debut as the USC front man. Will USC look like a dangerous team with nothing to lose or a dejected team with nothing to play for?
Friday October 11th
Temple (0-5) at Cincinnati (3-2) 8:30 ESPN
The Bearcats had a pretty decent start to the season before losing to an abysmal South Florida team last weekend. Can Temple catch them while they are down and pick up their first win of the season?
Saturday October 12th
#10 Oklahoma (5-0) at Texas (3-2) 12:00 ABC
Mack Brown's last stand. One last big loss to Stoops and the Sooners could be the finishing blow to Brown's tenure at Texas. Hook em'!
Missouri (5-0) at #7 Georgia (4-1) 12:00 ESPN
Georgia has played an absolutely brutal schedule thus far and their roster has suffered some key injuries. That front loaded schedule has definitely taken its toll. Will the Dawgs be susceptible to an upset at the hands of Mizzu? I keep forgetting that Mizzu is even in the SEC.
Indiana (3-2) at Michigan State (4-1) 12:00 ESPN2
The Hoosiers have a productive offense and the Spartans don't. I'm actually a little surprised that Sparty is favored by 6 in this game as it just doesn't seem like a good matchup for them. Is the Indiana defense really that bad?
Iowa State (1-3) at #21 Texas Tech (5-0) 12:00 FOX Sports 1
Iowa State is coming off of a brutal loss to
the Big 12 officials Texas. Did you see Cyclone Head Coach Paul Rhoads going off on the officials in his post-game presser? Impressive. Tejas Tech beat TCU in week 3 but their other 4 wins came against SMU, Stephen F. Austin, Texas State and Kansas. Despite the weak schedule thus far I'm expecting Coach Kliff to hang 50 on the Cyclones just to make Mack Brown look that much worse.
Pittsburgh (3-1) at #25 Virginia Tech (5-1) 12:00 ESPNU
On opening weekend Pitt got roughed up by Florida State and Virginia Tech got worn out by Bama. Neither team has lost a game since. This could be a good football game. With the Panthers on the Notre Dame schedule next month this will be a game worth watching.
#12 South Carolina (4-1) at Arkansas (3-3) 12:00 ESPN3.com
Will Jadeveon Clowney play? It at least sounds like Ol' Ball Coach is back in his camp again after some mild controversy last weekend. Cocks roll.
#17 Florida (4-1) at #11 LSU (5-1) 3:30 CBS
Can Leslie Miles and the Bayou Bengals take care of business in Red Stick? Is Will Muschamp auditioning to head back to Austin and replace Mack Brown? If so this game would be a nice feather in his cap. I'll take LSU at home in a close one.
#15 Baylor (4-0) at Kansas State (2-3) 3:30 FOX
Through four games Baylor is averaging 71 points and 790 yards of offense per game. The Bears have yet to play anyone decent but that's still completely ridiculous production. The Bears aren't exactly stellar on defense though so this game could be pseudo entertaining for a quarter or two.
#18 Northwestern (4-1) at Wisconsin (3-2) 3:30 ABC/ ESPN2
Northwestern came up a tad short against Ohio State last weekend and now face a Wisconsin squad that is one of the best 3-2 teams in the country. This should be yet another good football game.
Boston College (3-2) at #4 Clemson (5-0) 3:30 ABC/ESPN2
This won't be pretty.
#2 Oregon (5-0) at #19 Washington (4-1) 4:00 FOX Sports 1
I am really looking forward to watching this game. Washington looks legit but are they good enough to upset Webfoot U? Naaaahhhh.
#16 Michigan (5-0) at Penn State (3-2) 5:00 ESPN
Remember when these two teams used to play and it was sort of a big deal? Michigan busted some rust last weekend against Minnesota and should continue rolling in Happy Valley.
#1 Alabama (5-0) at Kentucky (1-4) 7:00 ESPN2
Alabama will host LSU on November 9th. That will be their last remaining regular season game against a ranked opponent. ESSSSSEEEEESSSSEEEE y'all.
Georgia Tech (3-2) at BYU (3-2) 7:00 ESPNU
Is anybody up for Scouting BYU again?
#9 Texas A&M (4-1) at Ole Miss (3-2) 8:30 ESPN
After a 3-0 start Ole Miss dropped their last two games to Alabama and Auburn. I expect that Johnny Football will make it 3 in a row for Hugh Freeze and the Rebels.
Tulsa (1-4) at UTEP (1-4) 8:00 FOX Sports 1
FS1 came up short on this matchup. Couldn't they put one of the 10:30 PAC-12 games in this spot?
Cal (1-4) at #13 UCLA (4-0) 10:30 ESPN2
This is one of those games that looks really boring which means that it will inevitably turn into a barn burner.
Oregon State (4-1) at Washington State (4-2) 10:30 ESPN
This PAC-12 nightcap has decent potential despite teeing up a pile of jokes that a 13 year old boy would appreciate.
What else should we be trying to keep an eye on? See you in the open thread on Saturday.
