Everett Golson Speaks to SI

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

This week's SI features Andy Staples' interview with Everett Golson. SI released a snippet of that interview and a preview of the article on line today.

Everett Golson granted an interview to SI's Andy Staples. SI released a small snippet and a video with Golson today. He is shown working with QB guru George Whitfield Jr. in San Diego and admits to poor academic judgement in a testing scenario. As an ND fan, it is great to see Golson's commitment to making himself a better athlete and a better student upon his return this January.

Golson discusses his work with George Whitfield and is seen doing some of Whitfield's more "unconventional" drills in the video.  He also speaks about making small tweaks to his mechanics.

Golson also talks about his heart being with Notre Dame and the pain of watching this year's season without being in there battling with his teammates.  Golson vows to come back a better athlete, and more so, a better student.
