With Notre Dame set for the home opener this weekend against in-state rival Purdue, we are launching a season-long series detailing the recruiting visitors to South Bend for each home game.

WR Justin Brent (2014) - Speedway, IN (Speedway)
OT Steve Elmer - Midland, MI (Midland)
OT Colin McGovern - New Lenox, IL (Lincoln Way West)
OLB Jaylon Smith - Fort Wayne, IN (Bishop Luers)
QB Malik Zaire - Kettering, OH (Archbishop Alter)
The group of Brent, Elmer, McGovern and Smith are tentatively scheduled to attend all of the Irish home games this fall. The rest of the Irish Mob '13 will be visiting throughout the season, with many attending multiple games. This is one of the closest knit groups of committed players in memory, all starting during the Junior Day in the spring and building over the spring and summer.

-DE commit Isaac Rochell broke his hand during last week's game and looks to be out for at least a few weeks.
-RB commit Jamel James tweeked his knee in Cinco Ranch's opening season win. He also looks to be out for a few weeks (or longer) pending test results.
-The men's basketball team is hosting two visitors for its 2014 class in F Mack Mercer (Plymouth, IN) and F Paul White (Chicago, IL – Rivals #58 Nationally).
