2013 Could Be the Year of the Irish

Stay connected for news and updates

Just looking at all the young talent that is on the roster, 2013 is shaping to be a very good year for the Irish. Golson will be seasoned after starting a whole year against the toughest schedule in the nation. GAIII should be a force, along with Amir Carlisle. I also feel that Nikklas will be the next great tight end at ND. Davonte Neal, Chris Brown, Justin Ferguson and TJ Jones will all be back to form a great group of recievers. On the defense we will be returning our top two defensive linemen (Tuitt, and Nix), the best pass rushers in Shembo and Ishaq. Lose Manti but Councell will have a year under his belt and Grace is ready to step in. Also alot of talent in the recruiting class at linebacker in Anazalone and Jaylon Smith. Jackson and Russel will be more experienced and Collingsworth will be back as well as Farley. But if you look at the schedule it is very favorable.

Temple- should be an easy win

Michigan - without Denard running all over us so be a win

Purdue - Win

Michigan St - without Bell (NFL) should be a win

Oklahoma - without Landry Jones very winnable

Arizona St- win

USC - without Barkley and Woods, very winnable

Airforce, Navy, Pitt, BYU, and Stanford- should all be wins.

I really feel that this is the year the Irish will be back, although I am hoping for the best this year.
