After a vicious thunderstorm ripped through South Bend, Indiana yesterday, the skies were clear this morning for the second fall practice of the season.
The media was not allowed in today's practice but as usual UND.com was able to release a short video with some coaching sound bites.
This upcoming Wednesday the media will be allowed to view the entire practice so we should have plenty to talk about then.
Just a quick update before the video, Philadelphia (Roman Catholic) wide receiver Will Fuller has flipped his verbal commitment from Penn State to Notre Dame following his visit to campus for yesterday's first practice. It sounds like the players did a great job making Fuller comfortable.
The new intro is pretty cool, right?
It's nice to get a glimpse into new offensive line coach Harry Heistand's demeanor.
"I don't care how high you jump, we're not playing basketball."
It's kind of surprising to see Romeo Okwara starting out at DOG linebacker. He's incredibly young and already a very big boy---most thought he'd start at CAT and grow into a defensive end. Bonus points for rocking the Shredder facemask though.
