#NotreDame senior LB Carlo Calabrese & junior QB Tommy Rees have both been suspended for the opening game of the season by Brian Kelly.

Cue up Goldrix. It sounds like they will at least get a 1 game head start. I will be very curious to see how this translates to the number of reps that each QB gets during camp. That could really make all the difference. I could see CBK limiting Rees' reps to get Goldrix "ready to play." Carlo and Tommy put themselves in a situation that when given a choice between two distinct paths, they responded with a set of poor decisions. Carlo and Tommy will not travel with the team to Ireland and can attempt to climb the depth chart following the conclusion of their respective suspensions."
