I don't usually listen to rumors or do I like posting rumors but I have been hearing for almost 2 weeks now that Shepherd wants to be Irish again. There was so many rumors about his health, his grades or that he was going to follow Greenberry to Houston and a thousand other rumors.

It appears that Shepherd had problems with his academics and that was what kept him from staying with Notre Dame. I don't know if the University would even allow Shepherd to come even if he got his grades back up to par BUT this kid was the best Corner in the country when he came out and was the first prospect to give his verbal for the 2012 cycle.

I know it's a long shot even if this has any truth to it BUT our biggest hole on the entire roster is at defensive back and having Shepherd back would be FANTASTIC. I am going to do some more looking around and see if there is any truth to this at all.
