Keith Arnold and UND.com catches us up on Irish student athletes' summer service activities

+

From Keith Arnold at Inside the Irish: "While most schools are digging into suspect courses that service mostly student-athletes and football players, Notre Dame proudly displays the work that a class of 59 student-athletes — including 56 football players — do for the community. "In a recent UND.com video, Jack Nolan and company take a look at the summer course Career Development Through Community Engagement. Offered throughout the year by the university’s Center for Social Concerns, the summer session gives members of the football team participating in summer classes the ability to utilize three of the five pillars that are emphasized by head coach Brian Kelly, who helped develop the syllabus classroom and community based course." Check out the UND.com video at KA's site or here.
