We have been discussing Coach Brey and the men's basketball team quite a bit in the last few days but we would be remiss if we didn't take a moment to mention the fact that the women's squad earned a #1 seed in the women's tournament. Coach McGraw and her squad have a very real chance of making the Final Four.

The women's basketball team put up a 30-3 record this season and head into the tournament after dropping a tough one to UCONN in the Big East Championship game. Hopefully that gives the team a little extra motivation to regroup and come out firing on all cylinders this Sunday when they open play against Liberty.

The ladies have the added advantage of playing on their home floor at Purcell Pavilion in the first two rounds. Best of luck to Coach McGraw and her squad in the tournament. This team will be fun to watch.
