After a series of big games Saturday night, we're going with a new number one team and shaking up the top ten.

Well that was fun, huh? When teams actually start playing one another - through the rigid requirements of conference schedules - we get a better idea of the landscape. Georgia, LSU, Texas and Florida State take rough tumbles. South Carolina, West Virginia and Florida? A validation for those of you that believed in them.

I'm going with a new number one this week. It may be temporary, but the Florida Gators have won at a decent Tennessee team, at a solid Texas A&M team and just handed LSU their first regular season loss since 2010. The Crimson Tide's best win is against...Michigan? Alabama is awesome, and I have full faith that they will run the table and end up number one when this thing matters, but for now? Credit to Will Muschamp for a tough win in The Swamp.

I have no idea what to do with the cadre of one-loss teams, so any advice is welcome.
