Welcome to One Foot Down's Recruiting Central page for the 2014 cycle.
This is where you'll be able to reference scholarship numbers, roster spots, recruit information, player breakdowns, and much more.
I would like to take a moment to discuss contact with potential recruits. Unless you are personally related to them or have known them for the majority of their life, don't contact them via social media. Ever. Don't do it. No excuses. It won't help, could likely hurt the program's chances and is a potential NCAA violation.
Also, many fans get all excited or disappointed based on the recruiting service rankings of incoming players. These rankings are an inexact science at best. Some highly regarded athletes never play a snap in college. Other players that were passed over by top-tier programs become All-Americans. Rankings are generally weighed on a player's height/weight/40 time, location/level of competition and off-season camp circuits more than in-season performance. Trust in the staff's ability to spot talent that fits their system and their ability to develop said talent more than what one site says over another.
