Armond Armstead to ND?

Potentially huge news on both the transfer and recruiting front, it appears as though Armond Armstead is considering transferring from USC, and among the teams he listed is Notre Dame. He started at defensive line for USC all 12 games in 2010 but was not granted medical clearance for this season, which really upset the Armstead family, as it was likely some scholarship shenanigans by Lane Kiffin looking ahead to this year. This is what prompted his brother, Arik Armstead (number 1 ranked recruit on 247), to decommit from USC and eliminate them entirely. Arik is considered a lean to Cal with Notre Dame firmly in the mix, among a few others. Armond transferring to Notre Dame (as a 5th year senior) would give the Irish another defensive lineman to rotate into the mix next year and potentially vault them into the lead for Arik.
