Nice find, Bill
I’m not a statistician/sociologist, but if there are any who read this, I’d be interested in how they feel about the questions, i.e., are they appropriately designed to elicit the information sought. The second question and the $50,000 question feel to me like questions that, anonymity notwithstanding, people answer based on how they think they should answer, not necessarily how they would really behave.
On the first question, I wonder how the answers would change if you asked two separate questions, one about illegal drugs and one about alcohol.
On the Penn St. question, holy moly.
